Who we are
Sunday Leagues is developed and published by [Your name or company], based in Italy (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data processed through the app.
Data we collect
Sunday Leagues does not ask for your email, phone number or password. When you open the app, it creates an anonymous identifier so your groups and votes can be linked to your installation.
- Profile: the display name you choose.
- Group data: group names, invite codes, the list of members and the players you or other members add (name, rating, position and color).
- Match data: teams, scores, goals, assists, cards, notes and MVP votes.
- Technical data: basic app and device information needed to deliver app configuration, such as app version and operating system.
Players added to a group are identified only by the name entered. Please add friends with their agreement and avoid entering anything other than a first name or nickname.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
How we use it
- To run the app’s features: groups, team balancing, match tracking, statistics, votes and leaderboards.
- To sync your group’s data between members’ devices.
- To configure the app remotely, for example which informational content is shown.
- To answer your support requests.
We process this data to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract) and, for technical configuration, on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the app working. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Third-party services
The app uses Google Firebase, provided by Google, to store and sync data:
- Firebase Authentication for the anonymous identifier.
- Cloud Firestore to store group, player and match data.
- Firebase Remote Config to deliver app settings.
Google acts as our data processor and may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. You can read more in Firebase’s privacy information.
In-app web content
When you open the app, it may show a page with news and information about sports events, innovations and tournaments, loaded from our own website inside the app. You can close it at any time with the close button. That page may use its own cookies or similar technologies as described on the page itself. Links that point to other websites open in your browser and are covered by those websites’ own policies.
Storage and retention
Data is stored on your device and in Cloud Firestore for as long as you use the app. Group and match data stays available to the group’s members while the group exists. When you delete your data from the app, your membership is removed and the data on your device is erased. Match history you contributed to may remain visible to the group as part of its shared record, without being linked to your identifier.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy of it. You can delete your data at any time in Settings, then Delete my data, or by writing to us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Children
Sunday Leagues is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
